Every scan is kept for testing and its report goes to #admin. Scan each card twice (put it down and pick it up again in between), and three of them a third time.
Pick your card from the list as you type. Two copies of the same card? Add “copy 2” after it so they’re kept apart.
Before you start
🃏 Card out of its sleeve or toploader: plastic hides scratches
🧼 Clean, dry hands, and hold the card by its edges
💨 Blow off any dust: dust looks like print spots
🪵 Any table is fine: no special background needed, though a plain mat works best
🤳 Rest your elbows on the table. A little shake is fine: the camera waits for a sharp moment
💡 Any light will do: our software straightens your photos and takes out glare and grain
What the camera does, like a grader
🟩 A frame that finds your card: it snaps onto the card's edges
📐 Centering gauge: measures your borders to a tenth of a millimetre
🔍 Loupe: reads every corner off a sharp photo, and asks for close-ups only when it needs them
💡 Angled lamp: a light sweep across the card shows scratches and dents
🎯 Every shot waits until it’s sharp, steady and glare-free
About 3 minutes (2 without the extra checks). Then our grading room checks your card and you get ACE, PSA, Beckett and CGC grades here and in Discord.
A plain mat works best: avoid wood grain and patterned playmats

Grading your card
Uploading your photos…
Our software straightens your photos and takes out glare, then the grading room checks the corners, edges, surface, print and cut under zoom, and a head grader settles anything they disagree on. Then PSA, Beckett, CGC and ACE’s own rules are applied. A minute or two: keep this page open (the screen stays on by itself). If your phone reloads the page, it picks the grade back up, and the report is posted on Discord too.
