Amazon UK sells Pokémon TCG products itself and through marketplace sellers. Knowing the difference saves you money.
Amazon’s own stock vs marketplace sellers
Only listings that are dispatched from and sold by Amazon are Amazon’s own stock at Amazon’s price. Marketplace sellers can list the same product, often far above RRP. Galar Alerts only counts Amazon’s own “Add to Basket” as in stock, so you aren’t pinged for marketplace prices.
Invite-only drops
For some big Pokémon products, Amazon UK shows a “Request invitation” button instead of “Add to Basket”. Amazon then invites some of the people who asked. Galar Alerts posts in #amazon-invites when the invite button appears, so you can request one early.
