Last updated 11 October 2026. The short version: our alerts are free and for information, always check the shop before you buy, and be kind to other members.
Who we are
Galar Alerts is a free, fan-run service for UK Pokémon TCG collectors, run by Drew in the UK. It’s made up of this website, our Discord server and our accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Whatnot. These terms cover all of them.
Alerts and guides are information
Our alerts, guides, release dates and prices are for information only. Stock and prices change quickly and shops sometimes make mistakes, so always check the shop’s own page before you buy. We don’t sell the products in our alerts, and we aren’t responsible for a shop’s stock, prices, orders or deliveries.
The Discord server
Everyone in the server follows the rules in #rules and Discord’s own Terms of Service. We can remove messages, and remove anyone who breaks the rules. Alerts are free for everyone. Supporter tiers are optional extras and never unlock the alerts themselves.
Giveaways
Each giveaway runs under the rules posted with it, and there is always a free way to enter.
The Galar Market Place
Members buy, sell and trade with each other in our WhatsApp group. Deals are between members: Galar Alerts doesn’t take a cut, doesn’t hold payments and doesn’t check what’s being sold. You trade at your own risk, so pay with PayPal Goods & Services.
Our social media accounts
We post our own videos and pictures about UK Pokémon TCG news on our Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts. Our posting tool only ever publishes to our own accounts, and only after a person on our team has checked the post.
Our content and other people’s
The words, videos and designs on our website and channels are ours unless they’re credited to someone else. Pokémon names, characters and card images belong to their owners. Galar Alerts isn’t affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company.
Links to other sites
Links to shops and other sites take you to sites we don’t run, and their own terms apply there. Referral links are labelled as referral links.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the last change. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
