Argos launches the Argos Drop: a draw for the chance to buy Pokémon
Argos has started selling some of its most wanted Pokémon through the Argos Drop. Instead of a race when stock lands, you enter a draw in the Argos app and people are picked at random for the chance to buy. The first product with it is the Pokémon Poké Ball Tin (Argos 8668475).

Quick answer: The Argos Drop is Argos’s draw for high-demand items. Enter in the Argos app by tapping Request an invite on the product page before the drop closes; winners are picked at random, emailed an invite and get a limited time to buy in the app. 18+, UK only, one entry each.

How to enter the Argos Drop
You can only enter in the Argos app. Argos’s own product page sets out the steps:
- Download the Argos app
- Sign in or create an Argos account
- Open the product, tap Request an invite, agree to the Argos Drop terms and tap Confirm entry before the drop closes
- If you’re selected, Argos emails you with the next steps
- Buy the item in the app before your invite runs out
How long do you have to buy?
Argos’s product page says winners have 48 hours to complete their purchase, and its terms say invitations are valid for 48 hours. The entry screen in the app says 24 hours. Until Argos makes the two match, treat it as 24 hours and buy as soon as your email arrives.

Who can enter, and is it random?
The Argos Drop is for over-18s in the UK, with one entry per person and one purchase per invitation. Once the drop closes, people are picked at random, so entering early doesn’t improve your chances: you just need to enter before it closes.
