Where to buy Pokémon 30th Anniversary cards in the UK

Quick answer: UK collectors have found Pokémon 30th Anniversary (30th Celebration) cards in person at Smyths, Waitrose, TG Jones, HMV, Sports Direct and Lidl when they restock, and online at Pokémon Center UK, Amazon UK (invite-only) and UK card shops. The Elite Trainer Box is £49.99 RRP.

These are the shops where UK collectors have been finding 30th Anniversary stock this autumn:

• Smyths: 30th Celebration has been turning up in stores, like the Eevee 2-pack blisters, with queues from the night before at stores like Milton Keynes and Enfield (at Milton Keynes the queue reached about 250 by the 8am opening). The Ultra-Premium Collection lands there on 6 November.
• Waitrose: a big 30th Celebration drop on 14 October (more below).
• Lidl: a 30th Celebration drop at Lidl Aylesbury drew a queue of over 200 people, all the way round the retail park.
• TG Jones: more and more stores have been getting 30th restocks, with limits.
• HMV: some stores started stocking 30th Celebration in October, with 1 item per person.
• Sports Direct: Sports Direct Barnet had a long queue for the 30th Celebration drop, and the Ultra-Premium Collection is coming on 6 November.
• Costco: its drop list for the rest of 2026 includes 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box and Booster Bundle 2-packs (not confirmed by Costco yet).

Waitrose and the 30th Anniversary drop

Waitrose had a big 30th Celebration drop on Wednesday 14 October 2026. Queues formed outside some stores before opening, and many stores set a limit of 4 Pokémon items per person. Some stores kept the stock behind the customer service tills, and others put it out on a stand. These were Waitrose’s prices:

That’s £1 over the UK RRP for most of them, and £3 over for the Poster Collection (RRP £19.99). Stock and limits vary by store, so check with your local Waitrose before you travel.

Where to buy 30th Anniversary cards online

• Pokémon Center UK sells its own Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (£56.99) in drops with a queue. We ping everyone the moment the queue goes up.
